Job Description:

Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.AP:Prep all invoices from Church & School for Payment to appropriate expense accounts.Pay all Church & School Invoices in a timely manner.Review Purchase Orders from Church & School for expense account distribution.Distribution of expenses between school & church from combined invoices that are priced individually for each employee.Bills such as, Medical, Dental, Retirement/Disability, Workers Compensation, & Payroll.AR:Prepare Church & School deposits prior to taking to bank.Prepare Church & School Receipts for distribution in appropriate income accounts.Payroll:Utilize Paychex Flex for Payroll. Posting payroll in QuickBooks:Breakdown each bi-monthly payroll on an Excel spreadsheet prior to distribution in appropriate expense accounts. Distribute each bi-monthly payroll to a Journal Entry for posting to the expense accounts in QuickBooks.W-2s & 1099 Vendors at EOYBanking:Deposit Church & School Receipts in a timely manner.Monitor the balance of Checking, Savings, Endowment & Loan Accounts.Transfer Funds between accounts when needed.Misc. Responsibilities:Understand the meaning of a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit OrganizationWorkers Compensation Audit utilizing bi-monthly payroll reports. Attend and report at weekly staff meetings.Misc. Church & School Groups:Receive, Reimburse, Review, Discuss, print out reports, adjust Income and expenses when necessary.Work with MMC Treasurer providing reports when necessary.Job Type: Full-time
