Job Description Job Description Experienced Fence Installer is responsible for the installation of pool safety fences on residential and commercial properties. This position requires a strong understanding of construction tools, precise measuring skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments. The ideal candidate has experience with power tools and a background in fence or general construction work. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install swimming pool safety fences using 15-foot sections, each with six poles Accurately read tape measures and lay out installation points every 36 inches Drill 1 1/8” holes in concrete decks using a handheld core drill Install aluminum sleeves 2 feet into dirt using a roto hammer or sleeve hammering attachment Secure and align fence sections using eyelids and snap latches Attach fencing to stucco surfaces using stucco anchors and appropriate hardware Modify fence sections by cutting mesh and installing border material and poles as needed for custom fits Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized job site Communicate effectively with clients and team members Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction or fence installation experience Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch Skilled in the use of power tools including: Bandsaw Skil saw Sawzall Roto hammer Impact guns Handheld grinder Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in outdoor conditions, and perform physical labor for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow installation instructions Valid California Driver’s License Must meet all hiring requirements, including DMV/MVR check and background screening Preferred Qualifications: Experience using a core drill (handheld or mounted) Previous experience installing mesh safety fencing around pools or similar applications Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Working Conditions: Outdoor work environment in varying weather conditions May involve loud noise levels and use of power tools Occasional travel to job sites within the region Physical Requirements: Frequent bending, lifting, standing, and walking Ability to lift, carry, and install fence sections and equipment Manual dexterity for operating tools and handling materials
