Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning,
coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon
budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and
present project updates to relevant stakeholders, customers, or
project team members.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain and update accurate project schedule,
including milestones and six-week look-ahead schedules.
- Identify constraints and resolve them promptly.
- Ensure timely submission and management of change orders,
review sub-quotes for accuracy, and maintain logs for subcontractor
T&M field tags and cost input.
- Prepare, submit, and present monthly Project Status Reports
covering budget, costs, subcontracts, insurance, submittals, RFI,
and risk management.
- Identify and manage project risks, communicate them promptly,
and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage internal and external project teams, including coaching
and monitoring career development.
- Ensure adherence to the contract with the owner, including
deliverables and notifications, and complete relevant risk
assessment forms.
- Understand contract laws and draft purchase orders, service
agreements, and subcontracts.
- Lead meetings with owners, architects, and contractors, and
distribute notes promptly.
- Collaborate with estimating to define scopes, identify risks,
and ensure timely billing and scope buyouts.
- Review and approve owner billings, ensuring timely submission
and follow-up for payments.
- Monitor the project budget to maintain profitability.
- Work closely with onsite superintendents to ensure smooth
material and labor flow, and perform regular site visits.
- Partner with the PE team to keep logs updated and
accurate.
- Oversee and implement 5S practices on the project.
- Assist in developing project estimates, especially for large
projects over $5M.
- Ensure safety measures are implemented throughout the project
lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the Virtual Design and Construction team to
implement BIM/VDC processes.
- Engage in business development by cultivating customer
relationships for potential additional work.REQUIREMENTS
- College degree in Civil, Construction Management, Architecture,
or related experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of construction experience.
- Experience in estimating (preferred).
- Proficiency with software such as ViewPoint, MS Project, Office
Suite, Primavera P6, SharePoint, and others listed.
- OSHPD experience and LEED certification (preferred).
- Reliable, self-motivated, positive, and adaptable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and
collaboration skills.Salary Range: $120,000 - $167,500ABOUT
