and committed to performance.UNDERSTANDING THE ROLECCS is seeking a
motivated, multi-tasking Associate Director, Client Onboarding. The
successful candidate will manage a portfolio of 3-4 feasibility
studies and/or related client projects at a given time. You will
join a team of high-performing professionals that specialize in
getting new projects off the ground, laying the foundation for
success, project sequencing and timing, developing all necessary
project tools, collaborating with clients on messaging strategies,
and implementing best practices. This is a client-facing role with
significant responsibility for relationship building and producing
client engagement deliverables.This is an excellent opportunity to
hone client-facing skills and learn about the philanthropic
industry while working closely with a team of high-performing CCS
colleagues and executives. Ideal candidates will possess excellent
writing, communication, client and project management, and
multi-tasking skills. The candidate is also comfortable reporting
to multiple executives, and capable of meeting set deadlines and
prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate
environment.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a project manager and strategic partner to nonprofit
clients in the initial phases of project activity and provide
support in special circumstances, as needed.
- Be the central point of contact and consultative liaison
between the assigned client and the CCS team.
- Lead in the design and execution of all initial planning calls,
meetings, materials, and project coordination.
- Develop the foundational materials that will guide the
engagement, including work plans and critical operational
tools.
- Review and understand contracts, deliverables, and project
timelines in order to help both client and internal team members
support all aspects of project setup and implementation.
- Prepare initial project work plan and work with Executive and
client team to ensure adherence to plan.
- Prepare data requests and liaise with CCS Analytics team and
the client to ensure accurate and timely completion of
request.
- Support in the data collection for high-level analysis to
review clients past fundraising performance.
- Assist with proofreading, data entry, and client training, as
needed.
- Track work plan and deadlines simultaneously across project
portfolios.
- Partner with nonprofits in the development of background
statements, including collecting key materials, gathering themes,
visions, and insights through conversations, and workshopping
document drafts through client feedback.
- Draft, refine, and finalize all study tools and materials in
partnership with the CCS and client teams.
- Coordinate logistics for all study e-survey requests,
processes, and distribution through Qualtrics.
- Ensure consistent communication with CCS project team and
external client teams.
- Working collaboratively with a variety of different audiences -
from senior-client leaders, donors, board members, and volunteers
as well as internal colleagues and working groups.
- Facilitate the seamless transition of each engagement to a
full-time CCS Director.
- Manage projects including but not limited to campaign
management, custom learning, and growth plans.
- Contribute to a toolkit of resources and templates for
team-wide use.QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor's degree; at least two to three years' work
experience preferred.
- Exceptional professional demeanor and interpersonal skills, and
ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff at our
client partners and internally at CCS, including with multiple
senior-level executives.
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as with a team.
- Adaptability to manage multiple workflows, timeline, scope
adaptations, and deadlines simultaneously, with a high level of
prioritization.
- Strong verbal communication skills in-person, via Zoom, and by
phone.
- Philanthropic values and a commitment to service.
- Outstanding writing skills with an eye for design and visually
appealing documents. Expertise in PowerPoint required,
Canva/graphic design a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new software and tools.
