Epic Travel Staffing -is hiring a Travel - PT Acute Care Hospital -
Shift: Days / 8:30a-5p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, weekend rotations, flexibility in start time
Length: 8 Weeks
Requirements:

• CA License
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors)
• BLS
• 2 years Physical Therapy experience: Preferred
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Doctorate Degree: Preferred4635 Day shift/ requires weekend rotations 8 hour shifts 8:30-5pm (some flexibility in start time)CA license for Physical Therapy prefer training in neuro rehab for acute rehab unit but also need inpatient physical therapistPhysical Therapist #77639
  Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical social and mental functions while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required

  Essential Functions This department provides evaluation and treatment for both inpatients with neurological muscular and skeletal trauma or dysfunction. It includes the treatment of disorders with physical agents and methods such as massage manipulation therapeutic exercises cold heat hydrotherapy electrical stimulation and light to assist in habilitating or rehabilitating patients and in restoring function after an illness or injury. If your department operates as inpatient only please notify FP&A. You can still use this department but we will map it to the inpatient-only benchmark.
