  Med Surg Travel RN
  
  --- Plan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the health care team.
  
  --- Evaluate medical information and provide direct care to pre- and post-surgery patients.
  
  --- Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
  
  --- Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  
  --- If necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
  
  --- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
  
  --- Availability to work the facility's required schedule.
  
  --- Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
  
  --- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
  
  --- Also referred to as: medical surgical registered nurse, M/S nurse, med surgical nurse.
  
  Job Requirements
  
  --- 2 years of experience as a Med Surg nurse
  
  --- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
  
  --- Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
  
  --- BLS certification required
  
  --- May require ACLS certification
