Phase II (Days) Overview: This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN)
focused on pre-procedure care within an Ambulatory Surgery Unit.
The RN will be responsible for assessing patients and coordinating
care prior to surgical interventions. Key tasks include conducting
patient interviews, reviewing medical histories, collaborating with
the anesthesia team, and providing direct care to patients of all
ages, adhering to hospital protocols. This position necessitates a
valid nursing license, strong clinical abilities, and effective

The RN maintains accountability for the care provided to assigned
patients and assesses the effectiveness of care from other

Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Procedure Phase II Status:
Full-time Shift: Days, starting at 5:30 AM Ambulatory Surgery Unit
Description: The Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) is situated on the
ground floor of the main hospital, adjacent to the Operating Room
(OR) and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). It features a 28-bed
surgery preparation area and a 32-bed outpatient unit dedicated to
pre and postoperative care for both pediatric and adult patients.

Competitive salary Key Responsibilities: Under the supervision of
the ASU Nurse Manager, the Pre-Admission Nurse will: Conduct
assessments with patients prior to admission, either via phone or
in-person Gather patients' medical histories from previous records
Collaborate closely with the anesthesia department to address
patient needs Provide direct care to patients across all age groups
Be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and
evaluating patient care in line with established protocols and
standards Perform all duties in accordance with our mission,
values, and service standards Qualifications: Required: Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program Licensure: Active RN
license in the state of practice Experience: At least 1 year of RN
experience Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
from the American Heart Association Skills: Strong clinical skills,
effective communication, and the ability to work well in a team
setting Preferred: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS),
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) as applicable; must be kept current Experience: A
