Locum Trauma Surgeon MD/DO - Fairfield, CA (Bay Area) 24/hr In-House Call (to include 3 hours) Rate Call back rate Travel Expenses 10 days of trauma call per month (if we can find someone to give us close to that amount they would be considered) Trauma Surgery Credentialing: 60 Days Start: 8/4 or As soon as credentialed End: 1/10/26 LOA: 5-6 month contract Work Schedule: 10 days of trauma call per month Patient Volume: Varies, Level II Procedures: Trauma/General Surgery EMR: Cerner License: CA license Certification: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program. Completion of Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery. - ACLS - ATLS - Current CA License Additional Info: Trauma Designation: Level II Provider Support: Collaborative team of Physicians (3 MD/DO'S) and Advanced Practice Professionals • Are the call shifts in house? Yes, need to be available within 15 minutes • Are the shifts 12 hours or 24 hours? 24 hour shifts weekdays and 72 hours weekend • What are the typical procedures? Trauma surgery procedures • How big is the trauma unit? How many beds? Hospital beds = 130 & 24 ICU beds • What is the anticipated volume of calls per shift? 15-25 calls
