Flexibility to float to different units within the hospital
Description: Telemetry Registered Nurse needed for day shift. The
role requires strong cardiorespiratory skills and the ability to
manage multiple telemetry patients. Candidates must be comfortable
floating to other units or campuses based on patient needs. The
expectation is for all nurses to be flexible with scheduling and
floating. Travel nurses can anticipate a notice of approximately
1.5 hours prior to shift start in most cases. A shuttle service is
provided for floating requests. Experience in adult and geriatric
patient care is necessary. Familiarity with Epic charting system is
preferred. The nurse will be responsible for a variety of patient
care tasks, including intravenous therapy and cardiac telemetry
monitoring. Daily census and patient ratios indicate a dynamic work
environment. Units support interdisciplinary collaboration with
various healthcare professionals. The patient population includes
individuals with a range of diagnoses and needs. Healthcare
professionals should have a commitment to delivering high-quality
care in a fast-paced setting. Strong critical thinking and
