Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least two modalities on a regular basis. This position is represented by RCHEA. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Required /n - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor's): Preferred /n - Master's Degree: Preferred /n - Three years' technical experience: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required /n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: Required /n - Must be certified in two additional advanced modalities â€" Computed Tomography(CT), Mammography(M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) or Sonography(S): Preferred /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Performs various radiographic and computed tomography consistent with employee's experience. Performs two modalities competently. /n - Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations (radiographic and fluoroscopic) as necessary. /n - Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures. /n - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. /n /n/n/n Organizational Requirements: /n Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
