transforming city—no longer just a government town but a growing
cultural and economic hub. It offers affordability relative to
coastal California, a booming farm-to-fork dining scene, diverse
neighborhoods, and expanding job opportunities in government,
healthcare, and tech. The city features tree-lined streets, a
reimagined riverfront, walkable Midtown, and access to lakes,
rivers, and mountains. Davis is a vibrant college town, home to UC
Davis and known for its bike-friendly culture, sustainability, and
strong sense of community. It blends small-town charm with academic
energy, making it ideal for students, professionals, and families
who value education, environmental consciousness, and a
walkable/bikeable lifestyle. Woodland offers a quieter, more
affordable alternative to nearby Davis and Sacramento, with a dense
suburban feel, deep agricultural roots, and a revitalizing historic
