CT Tech Location: Santa Cruz, CA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $3,301 to $3,495 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) City/State: Santa Cruz, California Shift: 8 hour Nights, 20:00:00-04:00:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 05/11/2026 Job Description: Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to operate Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 Light Speed scanners, perform CT examinations, and handle a wide variety of cases, including ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. The role requires management/charge experience and involves working with Cerner and McKesson PACS systems. Responsibilities: Perform 10-20 scans per shift, with evenings being the busiest time. Work alongside a radiologist or use Nighthawk services for night shifts. Ensure proper patient care and uphold safety standards during procedures. Participate in floor-specific orientation lasting 3-4 shifts when necessary. Requirements: Valid BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R certifications, and California license. Proven management/charge experience in a radiology setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Cerner and McKesson PACS charting systems.
