Cepheid is looking for a Human Resources Generalist in Lodi,

health challenges.Position summary:In this fast paced, high growth
environment, the HR Generalist plays a key part in enabling the
development of our HR organization. You will work closely with HR
Business Partners, HR Leadership, Global Operations, Global
Quality, Regulatory and Clinical organizations supporting Cepheids
HR programs and processes in a variety of areas including Talent,
Training and HR Operations.Essential job responsibilities:
- Focusing on HR execution excellence of our Talent Management
programs (performance management, development planning, associate
engagement and organizational and talent assessments), this role
will be running and interpreting reports and responsible for
following through with business leaders to ensure timely
completion.
- Partner with various Talent Acquisition teams and coordinating
inputs from hiring managers, agencies, recruiters, program managers
and HRBPs in support of our extensive global expansion
efforts.
- Act as a key resource to associates on navigating the how tos
of Cepheids programs and policies.
- In the spirit of continuous improvement, work with
cross-functional teams to help create, improve and automate current
processes whenever possible and create and revise standard work
where needed.
- Recommend innovative approaches, policies, processes and
practices that will improve efficiency, effectiveness and improve
quality in the delivery of HR programs and service.
- Will provide back up support to HRBPs with internal training
initiatives.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent
management, and employment law.Minimum requirements:Education and
Experience (in years):
- Bachelors degree with 2+ years of related work experience
OR
- Masters degree in field with 0-2 years of related work
experience.
- SHRM-CP a plusKnowledge and skills:
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
including federal, state and local laws, statutes, etc., which
govern employment policies and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines
- Proven knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced excel and
HRIS systemsPreferred Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Workday HRIS
- Experience with PowerBI
- Logical problem-solving skills; looks beyond immediate problems
to consider root causes and addresses them.Attitude/Attributes:
