  • 5 years of experience with Kubernetes architecture and its application in production environments.Preferred qualifications:
    • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
    • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
    • 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
    • Experience in defining technical strategy and architecture systems.

You will enable partners to run their applications at scale on this platform. Google Distributed Cloud Air-gapped (GDCag) allows public sector organizations and regulated enterprises to address strict data residency and security needs with a fully isolated environment, integrated cloud services (including Vertex AI), and an open ecosystem built on Kubernetes.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.       • Define and execute deployment and operations scaling strategies for Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped (GDCag) solutions, aligning with overall product strategy and business objectives.
      • Design, vet, and deploy life-cycle features, tooling, and processes for planning, deployment, operations, upgrades, expansion, and turn down of GDC air-gapped instances, advocatingbest practices.
      • Develop a strategic technical roadmap for Operations Engineering projects in collaboration with stakeholders across Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
      • Foster deep partnerships with various sub-teams within GDC, driving joint projects that strengthen overall Operations Excellence.
      • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, team of engineers focused on Operations Engineering, and cultivate and manage relationships with key GDCag customers, serving as a primary engineering point of contact.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
