NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the NVLINK NOS group, developing the NVLINK switch Operating System (OS). In this role, you will play a major part in developing our OS, which is critical to NVIDIA's next-generation networking technologies, enabling large-scale deployment in High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers. What you'll be doing:

• Using your expertise in Python and C++ to develop NVOS features in an Agile environment.
  
• Owning and leading the development of major features end-to-end, throughout their lifecycle.
  
• Being actively hands-on in OS software coding and debugging.
  
• Supporting customer integration with our NVLINK technology.
  
• Collaborating with offshore teams.
  
  What we need to see:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  
• 5+ years of overall technical experience.
  
• Proficiency in Python and C++ programming.
  
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
  
• Ability to self-teach and learn quickly.
  
• Proactive attitude.
  
  Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  
  
• Experience with Sonic OS.
  
• Networking experience.
  
• Experience working directly with customers.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both social and written.

  The base salary range is $148,000 - $287,500, determined by location, experience, and internal pay scales. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
