Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical
experience. 6 years of interaction design experience in product
design or UX design. Experience designing and prototyping within
Figma. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to
your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access
instructions). Preferred qualifications: 3 years of experience
working in a complex, cross-functional organization. 2 years of
experience leading design projects. Experience with Hardware or
Augmented Reality (AR). Experience in iterative interaction design
and delivery methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and

user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user

you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve
the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired
products that people love to use. We are seeking a Senior UX
Designer to work on Glasses System UI for Android XR. In this role,
you will craft interfaces and define the foundational experiences
for an emerging technology platform, figuring out what is "right"
for the Glasses form factor. For decades, the computing revolution
has reshaped our world driven by breakthroughs in compute,
connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Googles XR team is at the
forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and XR.
This is more than just new devices – its about reimagining how we

intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and
contextually aware experiences. The US base salary range for this
full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Lead interaction design for foundational aspects
of our Augmented Reality (AR) products and platforms, from concept
exploration through implementation, working with other designers,
researchers, prototypers, product managers, and software engineers
to build and test designs. Create detailed UX glasses that take
into account the optimal user experience, technical feasibility,
and existing frameworks. Drive one or more work streams, setting a
standard for professionalism, clarity, and operational excellence.
Build a coherent direction of the experience for upcoming augmented
reality products to inform core engineering and product
investments. Take initiative to create engaging design frameworks,
identify users needs, and deliver excellent products and
experiences.
