Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Service
Technician based in Gilroy, CA to join their team and provide
end-user support. The ideal candidate must have a reliable vehicle,
valid license, and a clean MVR. Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems,
hardware and computer peripherals Documents, maintains, upgrades or
replaces hardware and software systems Supports and maintains user
account information including rights, security, and systems groups
Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product
failures, orders and replaces parts as needed Determines and
recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
Required: CompTIA A certification (can obtain within 6 months of
hire) Skills and Qualifications: Associate's degree or its
equivalent preferred CompTIA A certification (can obtain within 6
months of hire) Minimum 0 to 3 years of experience in the field or
in a related area preferred Familiar with a variety of the field's
concepts, practices, and procedures Performs a variety of
complicated tasks Works under immediate supervision A certain
degree of creativity and latitude is required Must have strong
people / customer service skills and be able to build relationships
and rapport Strong written, communication, and documentation skills
Must be able to work independently, is self-motivated and
self-disciplined, and not afraid to ask questions if unsure about
something Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $16.87
- $24.75 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors
which may affect starting pay within this range may include
geography/market, skills, education, experience and other
qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits: The Company
