Wine Club CoordinatorProducers of iconic brands such as

label after years of growing grapes for other wineries. -Now
celebrating over 35 years as a bonded winery, Michael David Winery
has over 1100 acres of vineyards in the Lodi Appellation and prides

meticulous farming and sustainable wine grape growing, resulting in
superior quality in the bottle. Recognized as Wine Enthusiast's

take top awards and recognition nationally. Summary: -The Wine Club
Coordinator will assist in the operations of the Michael David
Winery wine club and fulfillment departments in driving the growth
of the wine club and direct sales businesses. This position is
responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a
consistent, timely and professional manner with all customers and
partners. Ensuring accurate order processing and timely resolution
of customer issues. Will develop, plan, and execute wine club
related projects and responsibilities, while assisting in driving
the growth of the wine club and direct sales businesses.Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customers, inquiries, special request,
orders, and cancellations via email or telephone
- Act as point of contact for potential wine club members
- Provide support for all DTC promotions
- Coordinate CRM database with membership application data entry,
welcome communications, and membership mailings for new wine club
members
- In conjunction with the shipping team, research and resolve
routine customer service inquiries or problems
- Assist with future and current programs by defining the
structure, products, offers, and membershipsas well as building
wine club loyalty and minimizing attrition
- Support all DTC initiatives with project management, inventory
logistics and customer service
- Provide front line customer service to wine club members,
e-commerce, and direct sales customers by generating and responding
to in-bound phone calls and e-mails related to sales offers,
general customer inquiries, event reservations and direct shipment
orders
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of Michael David Winery
to promote our story, unique processes, each of our brands and the
value positioning of our wines. To educate guests about our wines,
winemaking techniques, and winery history, effectively answering
visitors' questions
- Proactively resolve issues with returned or damaged shipments,
including follow-up with customers and fulfillment center
- Act as lead in relation to all club batch processes and revenue
acquisitions
- Assist DTC Operations Manager in building annual programming
calendar for wine club to maximize sales, profit and consumer
engagement
- Proactively execute club revenue opportunities
- Acquire skillful knowledge of -Wine Direct POS and CRM systems
to accurately handle purchases, to include operating cash register
and accounting of daily sales, discounts etc. Able to provide
overrides and accommodate special customer circumstances
- Ensure legal shipping compliance regulations are followed on
all wine club, direct sales, and internet orders
- Support wine club and non-wine club related events
- Generate departmental metric reports as requested
- Act as an ambassador for all wine club activities and
eventsQualifications:
- High School diploma
- Two plus years' experience in the wine or hospitality industry
with Direct-to-Consumer Sales experience a plus.
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Current Responsible Beverage Service and ServSafe training and
certification required.
- Possess exceptional organizational, analytical, and computer
skills. -
- Ability to communicate English in written and verbal form.
-Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish).
- Strong Microsoft suite experience required. --- - - - - - - -
-Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate
percentages.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and proof of
current insurance.
- Regularly required to sit for prolonged periods.
- Lift up to 45 pounds.
- Working conditions include internal and external work in all
types of weather environments.
- Able to work weekly schedule; work evenings, overtime, weekends
