DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:
The Mechanical Engineering department serves approximately 930
undergraduate students and 80 graduate students, which includes 73
percent students of color, 31 percent first generation, and 41
percent underrepresented minorities. The department offers Bachelor
of Science and Master of Science degree programs in Mechanical
Engineering. Most recently, the Department was ranked 15th in the
nation among non-doctorate granting institutions by the U.S. News &
World Report. These programs emphasize practical applications of
engineering principles in the areas of design, manufacturing,
materials science, aerospace, energy, and thermal sciences.
POSITION DETAILS:
The tenure-track position is full-time and will be at the Assistant
Professor rank. The estimated salary range for this position is
$88,000 - $105,000, with an anticipated annual salary of $93,000
depending upon qualifications and experience. Sacramento State
