Job Description:

The Distribution Center General Manager of this facility will develop and maintain a highly engaged workforce, build and foster a strong relationship with our customer, and ensure the efficient operation of the distribution site. This position will have oversight of and accountability for the following areas, including, but not limited to:

• Inventory
• Order fulfillment
• Inbound/outbound operations
• Personnel
• Training and development
• Customer relations
• Safety
• Compliance
• Quality
• Continuous improvement
  
  Job Requirements:
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and employee relations skills
  • Strong background in inventory management
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' management experience in a distribution environment; 3PL experience is strongly preferred
  • Must have had previous oversight of multiple supervisors/managers in a distribution/warehousing environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite, WMS, and Excel skills
  • Preferred candidate will have experience in and knowledge of Lean warehousing principles and practices and experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
