Job Description:

To accurately maintain and receive wine packaging element inventories.Essential Functions:The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.Receive, tag with inventory amount, and store all bottling supplies including but not limited to, verifying quantities, entering information into the computer system accurately, and sending reports to respective departmentsEnsure materials requiring approval from quality control are entered into the system, sampled and tagged for hold until releasedLoad and unload wine transfers from other facilities including but not limited to; confirming quantities, size and wine type, enter information into the system, and transporting wine to storage areaAssist in wine storage and shipping as needed under direction of Production SupervisorsReview B.O.Ms and assemble the proper materials for upcoming projects, and weekly bottlingsComplete the line supply reports and send to proper personnelPre-stage all materials to production lines and validate accuracy of materials to be utilizedResponsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the SQF Food Safety & Quality PolicyOrganize and mail wine material requests to other departmentsParticipate in production planning activitiesMaintain clean & organized warehouse area and office space free from safety hazardsAssist with training of new Receiving Agents & Forklift OperatorsRespond to request for samples of materials and wineActively participate in annual inventory activitiesParticipate in miscellaneous production projects as requiredResponsible for accurate record keeping of inventory and BOL documentationLead daily pre-shift huddles with receiving teams and communicate any information needed support bottling production needsUpdate Gemba Boards daily with accurate informationPeriodically report on team performancePerform daily inventory reconciliationActively participate in Continuous Improvement activitiesProvide support to other departments upon requestQualifications:Education: High School diplomaExperience: 2 or more years of forklift/warehousing experienceFamiliar with the operation of forklifts, clamp lifts and transportersKnowledge of inventory process, SAP and WMSPunctuality and reliability essentialGood communication and mathematical skillsMechanical aptitudeGood observation and analytical skillsAble to accurately follow written and verbal instructions and take directionAble to respond to frequently changing production pressuresAble to work effectively and cohesively within a production environmentMust be able to work any shiftWorking Conditions:Moderate to heavy physical workWork site may be any one of Trinchero Family Estates facilitiesStanding for long periods of time (8 hours per day)Must comply with all safety equipment requirements including ear plugs and safety glassesExposure to various chemicals in production areasExposure to machinery, forklifts and related production equipmentLong and irregular hours during peak periods or on various shiftsExtensive walking and lifting of up to 40 pounds Trinchero Family Estates provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
