Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in San Carlos, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 06/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity: Operating Room Surgical Technician Location: 301 Industrial Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070 Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Surgical Technician with orthopedic surgical experience to join our team in San Carlos, CA. The ideal candidate will hold current BLS and NBSTSA certifications and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical technician experience. This role requires flexibility, as some cases may extend beyond scheduled hours with overtime opportunities. Schedule - Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) - Block Scheduling: Not available Qualifications - Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Experience: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician - Orthopedic surgical experience is mandatory - Skills: - Proficiency in operating room protocols and surgical instrumentation - Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and assist efficiently during procedures - Flexibility: - Must be willing to accommodate occasional extended shifts Job Responsibilities - Prepare operating rooms for orthopedic and other surgical cases by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies - Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field integrity - Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies - Support smooth workflow by anticipating needs and communicating effectively with surgical staff - Document surgical supplies and maintain accurate inventory Additional Information - Patient population primarily includes orthopedic surgery cases - Collaborative work environment with interdisciplinary support - Opportunities for overtime compensation available If you are a dedicated Surgical Technician with a strong background in orthopedics and meet the above qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
